second-generation fisherman born and raised in the Bayous of Choctawhatchee Bay; he has over

a decade of professional fishing experience and learned the art of trout fishing from the greatest

inshore fisherman the world has ever seen. Captain Nick, at the age of 15, started his

professional charter fishing career in the Gulf of Mexico. With ambition, passion, and hard work,

Nick quickly moved to the top tiers of fishermen in the Gulf. As owner and operator, he will go

do everything to insure that your time on the water becomes a treasured memory.

Scallywag

The New Scallywag is a stunning 22′ Cape Horn Bay series designed for intense fishing experiences. It is backed by a 250 hp Yamaha 4-stroke that gives a quieter, drier, smoother,faster, more comfortable ride. The Scallywag is equipped with a tower featuring complete controls for daytime bow-fishing and sight-fishing, a top of the line chart-plotter/sonar for safe,pinpoint navigation, and a premium sound system with Bluetooth capabilities to provide great music while on the water. There is plenty of dry storage for personal items. The vessel is USCG rated for up to 6 passengers.

A. We offer many different styles of trips that vary in price. Please contact us for a quote.

Q. What’s included? What should I bring?

A. Fishing charters are similar to a trip to the beach. You’ll want a hat/visor, sunglasses,

sunscreen, camera and a small cooler with a few drinks and snacks appropriate to your

trip’s length.

Q. Is there an age limit?

A. There is no special age or height requirement to go on a Fishing Charter. We have trips

designed especially for young anglers, and we supply comfortable child and youth life-

preservers for extended use upon request.

Q. Why is it customary to tip the captain? What is a customary tip?

A. Along with professional fish cleaning services, Captain Nick Kirby works hard before the

trip begins and after the trip ends to ensure your trip is perfect. A 15%-20% gratuity is

customary.
